What makes event feedback questions actually work?

Most event feedback surveys fail before they start because the questions chosen don't have a clear goal. The difference between useful feedback and noise is almost always in how the questions were designed, not just how many were asked.

One to three focused questions consistently outperform long surveys. People have low patience during and after events. A short, well-framed set gets real answers. A long form gets abandoned or rushed.

Your collection style also changes what wording works best. Focused events (where a host or MC makes the ask) can carry slightly more weight because someone is actively inviting responses. Roaming or ambient setups need shorter, more instantly legible questions.
